AtomTrace: a laser that recognizes the composition of materials

The devices of AtomTrace, a company headquartered in Brno, can determine the chemical composition of the surface of an examined object and its subsurface layers from a distance of up to 30 metres. They use a method that performs online elemental analysis of materials using laser beams. AtomTrace´s production targets scientific institutions and universities, industry, forensic investigations, and also, in the future, clinical research or agriculture.

It works both in laboratory conditions and outdoors up to a distance of 30 metres. The analytical instruments of AtomTrace are designed for scientific institutions and universities, industry, and forensic investigations and also, in the future, for clinical research or agriculture.
