Josef Rada joined the Supervisory Board of Primoco UAV SE

Primoco UAV SE, the Czech manufacturer of civilian umannned vehicles, has expanded its Supervisory Board and Brigadier General (retired) Ing. Josefa Radu became its Member. The decision to expand the Supervisory Board was made by the General Meeting of the company at its registered office on 8 July 2020 with the participation of invited guests from the state administration and industry.

Ladislav Semetkovský, CEO, sees the expansion of the Supervisory Board primarily as a step to ensure closer co-operation with state authorities:

“We have been co-operating with Mr. Rada for a long time and we are very happy that he has agreed to have greater involvement in the running of our company. Thanks to his professional qualities and managerial experience, we asked him for support and advice on the ongoing certification of our company and unmanned aircraft, both in the civilian and military fields.”

Brigadier General (retired) Ing. Josef Rada (1957) is originally a military fighter pilot who flew mainly on MiG-21 aircraft. During his career in the Air Force, he held various management positions within the Czech Army and NATO structures, ending his military career as Deputy Commander of the Joint NATO Air Operations Control Centre. From 2008 to 2018, he was the Director of the Civil Aviation Authority of the Czech Republic.
