The availability of information on firms traded on the START market is again increasing. The Prague Stock Exchange has started publishing financial data from issuers on the START market on its website. Specifically, the balance sheet, profit and loss statement and basic financial ratios. A new “Financial Data” tab has been added to the START market issuer profile on the Prague Stock Exchange website. Here it is possible to find all the financial indicators that individual companies publish in their annual reports and send to the stock exchange as part of their information obligations. The data can be easily exported to XLS format, which allows everyone to process it further. “The START market is quite exceptional in its access to information. Investors already have the unique opportunity to communicate directly with company owners or their top management twice a year during the so-called START Day, which investors are very keen to take advantage of. It is therefore a further significant strengthening of the availability of information about traded companies, and thus of the overall transparency of the market,” says Petr Koblic, CEO of the Prague Stock Exchange.
